Rock the Night Away with the ``Sleepover'' Soundtrack, Set for Release on Buena Vista Records, June 29, 2004
BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 2004--On June 29, 2004 Buena Vista Records will rock around the clock with this summer's hot teen soundtrack, "Sleepover," featuring newly recorded music by today's most popular teen acts. Songs include "Freeze Frame" by Radio Disney favorite Jump 5; "Hole In The Head" (the #1 most added track at Top 40 radio) by Sugababes; "I Want Everything" by Hope 7; "We Close Our Eyes" by Allister and much more.
"Sleepover," featuring Alexa Vega of Spy Kids fame, follows the zany escapades of Julie and her best friends, Hannah, Yancy, and Farrah. In the summer before their freshman year in high school, Julie has a slumber party and the girls go on the adventure of their lives. In an attempt to cast off their less-than-cool reputations once and for all, Julie and her friends enter into an all night scavenger hunt against their "popular girl" rivals. Hijacking dad's car, sneaking into clubs, evading Julie's mother and even a first kiss are all part of the mayhem. Anything is possible at Julie's sleepover. "Sleepover," an MGM release, opens wide on 2000-2500 screens on July 9, 2004. Sleepover soundtrack track listing: 1. Freeze Frame Jump 5
